My Family!

There's only one thing better than being with family... being in Cape Breton, on the salt water, with family. "Why are all our summer pictures in the water or eating?" "Because that's all we do!" It is rare for all of us to be home at the same time and this year we had one day where all 7 of the family's grandchildren would be together. It's been 2 years since there's been a group photo taken and in the world of children 2 years can be a long time. And since today was the day! Here are two of my favorites.

My Baby is Growing Up!

It's true. Where does the time go? Seems like only yesterday I was seeing this little boy for the first time. I affectionately refer to him as "my baby in the bucket"... one of my all time favorite photographs. It has been amazing to watch him grow from a newborn to a 2 year old and to have captured the changes in him on "film". I'm sure you will agree he is beautiful. And looking back at how much he has changed also makes me realize how much I have changed along with him.

With a new baby brother or sister on the way at the end of the summer I'm hoping I will see him at my studio again soon. Happy Birthday Hayden! .. and congratulations on the new baby Cheryl & Jason.
